Branch Finder

Enter a suburb name or 4-digit postcode to find all bank branches and their BSB numbers in that area.

Postcode searches show all branches in that area. Suburb searches match against the BSB directory.

How the Branch Finder Works

Search by Suburb

Enter a suburb name (e.g. “Parramatta”) to see all active bank branches registered at that location in the BSB directory.

Search by Postcode

Enter a 4-digit postcode (e.g. “3000”) to see all branches across every suburb within that postcode area.

Results include the BSB number, institution name, and branch name for each location. Click any BSB for full details including address and payment capabilities. For more tips, see our guide: How to Find Your BSB Number.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find the BSB for my local branch?

Enter your suburb name or postcode into the Branch Finder. The results will list every active bank branch in that location with its BSB number. Click through to any individual BSB for full branch details.

Why are some suburbs not returning results?

The Branch Finder uses the official BSB directory, which reflects active bank branches. Suburbs without bank branches will return no results. Try searching a nearby suburb or the main postcode for your area.

Can I search by postcode instead of suburb name?

Yes. Enter a 4-digit Australian postcode and you'll be taken to a page showing all bank branches within that postcode area, grouped by suburb.

Does this show all banks or just the major banks?

The Branch Finder shows branches for all institutions in the BSB directory, including credit unions, building societies, and online banks with a registered presence in the area.
